Early Life and Club Career

Amr Mohamed Abd Al-Rahman, a prominent Sudanese footballer, was born in Омдурмане, where he began his playing career. In 1999, he joined Al-Merreikh, one of the most successful clubs in Sudan.

During his long tenure at Al-Merreikh, Al-Rahman established himself as a key defender, guiding the team to numerous accolades. He was instrumental in the club's four Sudan Premier League titles(2000, 2001, 2002, 2008) and six runner-up finishes(2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009). He also played a vital role in Al-Merreikh's five Sudan Cup triumphs(2001, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) and two Cup final appearances(2004, 2009).

In addition to his domestic success, Al-Rahman made a significant mark in continental competitions. He helped Al-Merreikh reach the 2007 CAF Confederation Cup final, where they narrowly lost to CS Sfaxien.

International Career

Al-Rahman made his international debut for Sudan in 2003. He featured prominently in the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaigns, making nine appearances in total. He also played two games for his country at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, starting in both matches against Egypt and Cameroon.
