Early Career at Peñarol
Naithan Nández emerged as a talented attacking midfielder in his native Uruguay. A product of Peñarol's youth system, he made his professional debut for the club in March 2014. In the 2015/16 season, Nández played a pivotal role in Peñarol's championship triumph. He scored his first goal for the team in September 2015 and helped secure the league title.
Setbacks and Rebound with Peñarol
Despite his success, Nández's fortunes took a turn in the following season. He lost his starting spot in Peñarol's lineup and was omitted from the national team squad for the Copa América. However, in August 2016, he opted to remain with Peñarol and regained his form.
Move to Boca Juniors
In the summer of 2017, Nández transferred to Argentine giants Boca Juniors. He debuted in the Argentine Primera División against Lanús and scored his first goal for the club in September against Godoy Cruz. Nández quickly established himself as a valuable asset for Boca Juniors.
International Success
Nández's international career began in 2015, when he helped Uruguay's U-20 team secure bronze at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. The following year, he made his senior debut for Uruguay in a friendly against Costa Rica.
