Biography of Anastasia Girenkova
Anastasia Girenkova is a Soviet and Ukrainian actress of theater and cinema. She was born on April 29, 1974, in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. From a young age, she showed an interest in choreography and began practicing this art form. From 1981 to 1990, she actively danced in various children's ensembles in Kiev. She participated in performances at the Central Palace of Pioneers, took part in a classical dance circle at the October Palace, and was also a member of the children's ensemble of folk and folklore dance "Tsviten," which is associated with the G. Verevka National Academic Choir.
In 1997, Anastasia successfully graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theatrical Arts named after I.K. Karpenko-Karyi, completing her studies in the workshop of M.Yu. Reznikovich. During this period, she also found work as an editor-announcer in the promotion group of the programs department of NTKU "Inter." From 1997 to 1999, Anastasia Girenkova actively collaborated with the Young Spectator's Theater at Lipki.
Her acting career includes various roles in different productions, such as "Fairy Tale Ball," where she played Cinderella, "The Morals of Mrs. Dulskaya," where she portrayed Meli, and "Hiss! or The Stories of Cat Filofei," where she voiced the characters Zinka and Mamulya. Her talent was also recognized in the role of the Ugly Duckling in the play "The Ugly Duckling" and as Annika in the production "Pippi Longstocking."
In addition to her acting career, Anastasia also engaged in dubbing and voice acting. Her outstanding work in voice acting earned her the Best Dubbing of the Year Prize for the role of Kevin in the popular film "Home Alone." Fate brought Anastasia into the world of cinema at an early age. In 1980, when she was only six years old, she was noticed by Marina Kucherenko during a meeting with the Olympic flame, which passed through Kiev. This event marked the beginning of her film career. The first film in which she made her debut was Nikolai Maletsky's film "Let's Wait, Come Back!" where she played the role of Luly.
Her further path in the film industry turned out to be successful. She played child roles in various films, among which her roles in films like "Ivanko and the Wicked King" (1984), where she portrayed the daughter of the forest king Povetrulyu, and "The Great Adventure" (1985), where she played the lead role of Yana, stand out. In the following years, Anastasia Girenkova continued her film career, appearing in various TV series and films. Her acting talent and hard work helped her make a significant contribution to the world of cinema.
