Early Life and Education

Mykola Drabivskyi was born on August 1, 1958, in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. He graduated from the Kyiv Trade and Economics Institute with a specialization in Trade Economics.

Career in Academia

In 1998, Drabivskyi became the deputy director of the Vinnytsia Cooperative Technical School. Eight months later, he became the school's director. In 2009, he was elected as the vice-president of the Vinnytsia Regional Federation of Weightlifting.

Political Career

Drabivskyi ran for the Vinnytsia City Council in 2002 and 2010 but was unsuccessful. In the 2019 snap parliamentary elections, he was elected as a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the 12th electoral district (Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia Raion) for the Servant of the People party, receiving 33.32% of the votes.

Media Scandal and Russian Sanctions

On November 17, 2020, Drabivskyi was caught on camera by journalist Oleksiy Lipovetsky watching erotic videos on his phone during a Rada session, sparking a scandal within the Servant of the People party. On December 7, 2020, he was included on a list of Ukrainian individuals sanctioned by the Russian government.
