Hlaváčková quickly rose through the junior ranks, becoming the world's number one junior in doubles. She also reached the finals of the Orange Bowl in 2002 and the semi-finals of two Grand Slam junior tournaments (Wimbledon in 2002 and Roland Garros in 2003).
