Research and Publications
Galbraith gained widespread recognition for his insightful studies on capitalism, particularly during the crises of the 1970s and 1980s. He acted as an advisor to both the National Union of Miners (UK) and the International Labour Organization. His research culminated in the publication of "Capitalism Since World War II: The Making and Breakup of the Great Boom," a collaboration with Philip Armstrong and John Harrison. Initially published by Fontana in 1984, the second edition was released as "Capitalism Since 1945" by Blackwells in 1991. The work garnered widespread attention and was translated into Chinese and Japanese.
