Early Career and Military Service
Serhiy Klimov began his football career in 1986 with Kursk's "Avangard." He then spent two years with the army team "Iskra" (Smolensk).
Joining Dynamo Kyiv (1990)
In 1990, Klimov joined "Dynamo" (Kyiv), where he spent six years. However, he struggled to become a regular starter, often finding himself on the bench.
Debut for the Ukrainian National Team (1992)
On August 26, 1992, Klimov made his debut for the Ukrainian national team in a friendly match against Hungary.
