Career Beginnings at Ukrainian Clubs
Vitaliy Burdian began his football journey in 2003 with "Borisfen-2" in the Ukrainian Second League. In 2004, he moved to "Boreks-Borisfen" and later to the reserve team of "Borisfen" in Boryspil. He continued to represent the reserve team of "Metalurh" Donetsk in 2005.
Armenian Adventure
In 2006, Burdian embarked on a new chapter in Armenia with "Banants". He made his UEFA Cup qualifying debut against Georgian club "Ameri" in July 2006, receiving a red card during the match.
Brief Stints in Ukraine and Kazakhstan
For the first half of the 2007/08 season, Burdian played in Ukraine's First League for "Lviv". In 2008, he returned to Armenia and impressed in the Armenian Championships with 2 goals and 22 appearances. He also played in the Armenian Cup, Super Cup, and the UEFA Cup qualifying rounds against "Red Bull" Salzburg. After a brief stint with "Kazakhmys" in Kazakhstan, Burdian spent time on trial with Ukrainian club "Illichivets" Mariupol in July 2009.
First League Debut and Sumy Success
In September 2009, Burdian joined "Enerhetyk" Burshtyn, making his First League debut against "Prykarpattya" Ivano-Frankivsk. In January 2010, he went on trial with "Sevastopol" before signing with "Sumy" under head coach Igor Zhabchenko in the summer of 2010.
