Anatoliy Dubiy is a renowned Ukrainian musician, pedagogue, poet, and visual artist who has gained prominence in multiple artistic disciplines.
Musician and Educator
Anatoliy's musical journey began in 1982 when he enrolled in the Luhansk Music School No. 1. He later graduated with honors from the Luhansk Music College in 1991 as a bayanist and conductor. His education continued at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky in Kyiv, where he completed his studies in 1998, an assistanceship in 2002, and his postgraduate studies in 2003.
As a musician, Anatoliy has performed extensively as a bayanist in Ukraine, Russia, Poland, and France. He has also showcased his experimental ensemble, "Bayan-Organ," featuring collaborations with renowned organist Iryna Kharetsko. His contributions to the musical realm extend to his authorship of organ music arrangements for the bayan.
Beyond his performing career, Anatoliy has dedicated himself to music education. Since 2000, he has been teaching at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, where he holds the position of associate professor. His students have achieved numerous accolades and Grand Prizes in national and international competitions.
Poet and Creative Writer
Anatoliy's literary talents have also flourished. He is the author of poetry collections such as "A Few Words about Love" (2003) and "Unconventional Wisdom" (2003). His works have been published in esteemed Ukrainian literary publications and anthologies.
Visual Artist
Anatoliy's artistry further extends to the realm of visual arts. He is a member of the "Portal of Independent Artists" and has showcased his paintings in exhibitions. His notable works include "Weighs of Life," "Earthy Cross," and "Metamorphoses of Civilization." He has received awards and accolades for his artistic creations, including the "Chrystal Rose" of the "Roses and Grapes" competition (2017) and the First Prize of the "Ukrainian Art Week" exhibition (2017).
Organizer and Conference Participant
Anatoliy has also actively participated in organizing and presenting at conferences. He was a member of the organizing committee for organ festivals, liturgies, and scientific conferences. He organized Ukraine's first scientific conference on "Synthesis of Science and Art in Music" (2005) and the First International Scientific-Practical Conference-Festival "Stars of Bayan-Accordion Art" (2006).
