Andrei Embalaev, also known as "The Tempest," is a renowned Ukrainian boxer, kickboxer, and mixed martial artist.
Martial Arts Achievements
Embalaev is a master of Thai boxing and has emerged victorious in numerous competitions. He captured the title of World Thai Boxing Champion in 2005, as well as the Ukraine Championship on four occasions. Additionally, he reigns as the Ukraine Champion in Combat Sambo.
Mixed Martial Arts Career
Embalaev's foray into mixed martial arts (MMA) commenced in 2009 at a tournament organized by M-1 Global in Donetsk. His opponent, David Tkeshelashvili, swiftly overwhelmed him with a chokehold, forcing Embalaev to tap out in the first round.
M-1 Seletion Ukraine 2010
In 2010, as a member of the Donetsk-based Aris club, Embalaev participated in the M-1 Seletion Ukraine 2010 team tournaments. Despite initial setbacks against Abdulrakhman Nurmagomedov and Shamil Tinagajiev, he showcased his resilience and determination.
