Andrey Molochy was born on May 2, 1978, in Korosten, Zhytomyr Oblast. After finishing school, he enrolled in Kiev Agricultural University.
Career
Molochy played in the university's "kaveenovskaya" team called "Na Ushakh," which became the champion of the Ukrainian League of KVN. In the team, he played multiple roles, including being the creative center, lead actor, captain, administrator, soul, and internal auditor. He then joined the Luhansk-based team "Va Bank," with which he again became the champion of the Ukrainian League.
While pursuing his career in KVN, Molochy also worked in England, officially, according to reliable information. It was during this time that he caught the attention of Anton Lirnik, who would later become his partner in the comedy project "Duet Imeni Chekhova." Molochy joined the "Alaska" team, where he made a lasting impression on Lirnik.
In 2005, Molochy left "Alaska" to focus on business. It is known that he engaged in business ventures with Maxim Bakhmatov, but the specifics of their business activities remain unclear. Some sources suggest that it was Molochy who came up with the idea of creating a Ukrainian version of the popular Russian stand-up show "Comedy Club."
Molochy gathered like-minded individuals, including Lirnik, Bakhmatov, and Andrey Buryma, to form the creative core of the future collective. In the spring of 2006, they established "Duet Imeni Chekhova." By June, they started performing as part of "Comedy Club UA." The project initially aired on the "Inter" channel, later moving to "1+1," and in March 2008, its new episodes began airing on Novy Kanal.
Since 2008, Molochy has also been participating in the comedy TV project "Fayna Yukrayna" alongside his "Comedy Club UA" colleague Sergey Pritula ("Ternopolsky Seryy"). The show is broadcast on Novy Kanal.
