Early Career

Youth and Club Beginnings

Ukrainian defender and current player for FC Oleksandria, Oleksandr Hrytsuk began his football journey in the youth academy of Chornomorets Odessa. He later moved to Knyazha before joining FC Borysfen Boryspil in 2000. At Borysfen, Hrytsuk gained valuable experience, playing in various leagues, including the Second League, First League, and Premier League.

Journeyman Years

Movements and Accomplishments

After leaving Borysfen, Hrytsuk embarked on a period of club hopping, representing Borysfen-Boryspil, Dniester Ovidiopol, and Borysfen once again. In 2006, he joined Enerhetyk Burshtyn, before briefly trying out with FC Karpaty Lviv in 2007. Hrytsuk ultimately found a home at FC Oleksandria in 2008, where he made his debut in a 1-0 victory over FC CSKA Kyiv.

Student Success

University Honors

While playing for Oleksandria, Hrytsuk also represented the Ukrainian student national team. He made a significant contribution, helping the team win two consecutive Summer Universiades in 2007 and 2009.
