Biography of Angelo Figus

Born on January 5, 1975, Angelo Figus is a fashion designer specializing in clothing and footwear. Originally from the island of Sardinia in the town of Cagliari, he pursued his first degree in the field of natural sciences. In 1995, Angelo enrolled in the University of Milan for architecture but later moved to Antwerp in 1996 to pursue professional education in fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

During his time in Antwerp, Angelo's diploma collection, a menswear collection, caught the attention of Driss Van Noten and his team. As a result, he had the opportunity to showcase his collection during Haute Couture Week in Paris in 1999. This achievement marked the beginning of his professional career in the fashion industry.

Apart from his work in fashion design, Angelo Figus has also excelled as a costume designer for various performances. He has created costumes for opera productions such as Claude Vivier's "Reves d'un Marco Polo" directed by Pierre Audi at the Amsterdam Opera, and Richard Wagner's "Lohengrin" also directed by Pierre Audi at the Amsterdam Opera.

Angelo Figus's collections are sold in stores across Belgium, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, the United States, Canada, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong. The boutique Le Form carries models of Angelo Figus's women's footwear.
