Biography of Angie Dickinson
Angie Dickinson, born Angeline Brown, was an American actress and former beauty queen. She was born in Kulm, North Dakota, USA. Dickinson gained fame as a film actress and later became even more notorious for her scandalous role in producer Roger Corman's film Big Bad Mama in 1974, where she appeared nude. She also stood out for her provocative scenes in Brian De Palma's film Dressed to Kill.
Dickinson appeared in numerous low-budget films and achieved stardom with her leading role in Sam Fuller's film Rio Bravo in 1959. However, her status as a star was not solidified in the following years.
She was briefly married to composer Burt Bacharach but later divorced.
