Perry Gilpin (born Perry Kay Oldham) is an American actress best known for her role as Roz Doyle on the NBC sitcom "Frasier" (1993-2004).

Early Life and Education
Gilpin was born on May 27, 1961, in Waco, Texas. She grew up in Dallas and graduated from Skyline High School. She studied acting at the University of Texas at Austin and the Anglo-American Academy in London. She adopted the stage name "Perry Gilpin" after becoming an actress. According to Gilpin, she was named after the squirrel "Perry" in the Disney documentary series "True Life Adventures."

Career
"Frasier" and AwardsGilpin is most famous for her role as Roz Doyle on "Frasier." Along with the rest of the "Frasier" cast, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for "Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series" in 2000.

Television and Film
Gilpin has guest-starred on numerous television shows, including "Medium," "Desperate Housewives," and "Make It or Break It." She also played a lead role in the television drama "Love Monkey" alongside Teri Polo.
Gilpin has also provided voice acting for animated films and television series, including "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within," "Danny Phantom," "Superman," "Justice League," and "Hercules." Personal Life
Gilpin is the daughter of actress and model Sandra Jo Hawk and Philadelphia television and radio personality Jim O'Brien. Her father worked in media throughout his life before dying in a skydiving accident in 1983. After Hawk died of cancer, Gilpin became involved in cancer research advocacy.
She has a sister, Patty Jo Winn, and two half-siblings, actors Mark and April Gilpin. She has been married to landscape artist Christian Vincent since July 31, 1999. They have twin daughters, Stella and Ava, who were born via surrogate on May 7, 2004.
