Early Career

In 1993, Anna Karin joined the Swedish junior ski team and competed in the Junior World Championships, but did not achieve significant results. Despite her efforts, she struggled to secure a spot on the national team and mainly participated in national tournaments, the European Cup, and Swedish stages of the World Cup.

Transition to Biathlon

In 2002, Anna Karin made a transition from skiing to biathlon. Her debut in biathlon was successful, finishing sixth in a European Cup stage.
