Early Career

Yaroshchuk's athletic journey commenced in 2006 at the Gymnasiade, where she represented Ukraine in the 200-meter event. In 2007, she established a personal record of 24.58 in the same discipline. Additionally, she played a significant role in setting Ukraine's junior record in the 4x100-meter relay and capturing a silver medal at the European Athletics U19 Championships.

Transition to 400-Meter Hurdles

The following year, Yaroshchuk transitioned to the 400-meter hurdles, where she achieved notable success. At the 2008 World Junior Championships, she placed sixth in the event with a time of 58.43. In the 4x400-meter relay, she and her Ukrainian teammates clinched second place, setting a Ukrainian junior record.

Success at Youth Championships

Yaroshchuk's accomplishments continued at the European Athletics U23 Championships in 2009. She finished eighth in the hurdles and contributed to her team's fourth-place finish in the relay. In 2010, she achieved a personal best of 55.60 at the Ukrainian Championships, qualifying her for the European Championships that year.

Yaroshchuk's breakthrough came in 2011 at the European Athletics U23 Championships. She secured the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.77. In the 4x400-meter relay, she captured another silver medal. That same year, she triumphed at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China, in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.14. At the World Championships in Daegu, she finished fifth as part of Ukraine's 4x400-meter relay team.

European Bronze and Olympic Experience

Yaroshchuk's career reached its peak in 2012. At the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki, she captured the bronze medal in the 400-meter hurdles, setting a new personal record of 54.35. She also represented Ukraine in the 4x400-meter relay at the Olympic Games in London, finishing fourth.

Continued Excellence

Yaroshchuk's success continued in the following years. At the 2013 European Team Championships, she secured second place in the 400-meter hurdles and sixth place at the World Championships.
