Biography of Anna Tatangelo
Early LifeAnna Tatangelo is an Italian pop star known for her attractive appearance and model-like features. She was born on January 9, 1987, in Sora, in the province of Frosinone, central Italy. Anna has two older brothers, Maurizio and Giuseppe, and an older sister, Silvia. Currently, she and her family reside in Rome.

Early Career and Success
In 2002, at the young age of 15, Anna won a music festival in Sanremo, becoming the youngest singer to achieve victory in the competition. This success propelled her into the spotlight. Immediately after winning the festival, Anna recorded a duet titled "Un nuovo bacio" with her boyfriend, author, and performer Gigi D'Alessio. A year later, they collaborated on the song "Il mondo e mio." Both songs were featured on her debut album, "Attimo per attimo," which was released in September 2003.

Rise to Stardom
Anna gained even more success and recognition with the release of her second album, "Ragazza di periferia." Most of the songs on this album were co-written with D'Alessio. The album produced several hits, including "Quando due si lasciano," "Qualcosa di te," and the title track, "Ragazza di periferia." The album was released in 2005, and in 2006, Anna participated in the Sanremo festival once again, winning in the female category with her new song, "Essere una donna."
Continued Success
Anna continued her star-studded career with her third album, "Mai dire mai," released in 2007. The album maintained her signature style, featuring catchy and naive songs. However, the tracks on this album showcased improved musical quality, and Anna herself wrote the lyrics for two of the songs. In 2008, Anna achieved second place at the Sanremo festival with the song "Il mio amico," dedicated to her best friend Claudio. She later performed this song as a duet with American singer Michael Bolton.
Recent Years
Anna's first concert tour concluded in March 2008, and in November of the same year, her fourth album, "Nel mondo delle donne," was released. The album included nine new songs and two old ones. The title translates to "In the World of Women," and each composition is dedicated to women in some form. The song "Rose Spezzate" tackles the theme of domestic violence, while "Va Da Lei" serves as an anthem for devoted and abandoned women. Critics praised Anna's mature vocals, emotional depth, and the album sold 50,000 copies in Italy.
Personal Life
In May 2009, several news outlets reported that Anna was two months pregnant, and Gigi D'Alessio was named the father. However, two weeks later, it was revealed that Anna had suffered a miscarriage.
