Born on December 31, 1924 (other sources indicate January 1, 1923) in the small fishing village of Hasan-Kuli (now Esenguly), Annakuliyeva received her primary education there. She continued her studies at the Women's Pedagogical College from 1936 to 1939, where she befriended the future People's Artist of the USSR, Maya Kuliyeva.

Career in Opera and Theatre

After completing her training at the Turkmen Opera Studio, Annakuliyeva became a soloist at the Turkmen Opera and Ballet Theatre (now the Makhtumkuli National Musical and Drama Theatre) from 1941 to 2001. She possessed an exceptional voice and a diverse repertoire, including songs in the languages of the countries she toured.

International Acclaim and Concert Performances

Annakuliyeva's talent gained international recognition. She toured extensively in Canada, India, Hungary, and Afghanistan, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. Each time, she would include songs in the local language in her performances.
