Anton Korobov is a Ukrainian chess player who has achieved the prestigious title of Grandmaster. Born on September 25, 1985, in the city of Lysva, Ukraine, Korobov has made significant contributions to the world of chess.

Early Years and Training

Korobov began his chess journey in Kharkiv, where he received his initial training from renowned coaches Lydia Sahanovich and Yuri Sahanovich at the "Peshka" chess club. It was under their guidance that his passion for chess flourished, and he displayed exceptional talent from a young age.

Education and Achievements

After completing his secondary education, Korobov enrolled at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. Alongside his studies, he continued to excel in chess and participated in numerous tournaments.

He became a Grandmaster in 2003, solidifying his position as one of Ukraine's top chess players. In 2016, he also secured a bronze medal at the 42nd Chess Olympiad in Baku.
