Argam Ayvazyan, a renowned Armenian historian, culturologist, and armenologist, dedicated his life to studying the history of Nakhichevan.

For 45 years, Ayvazyan meticulously examined numerous monuments and sanctuaries in Nakhichevan, contributing significantly to our understanding of the region's past. His unwavering commitment earned him the esteemed title of Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Armenia.
Prolific Authorship
Ayvazyan authored an impressive 200 publications, of which 23 have been published and another 7-8 are forthcoming. His literary works span a wide range of topics related to Nakhichevan's heritage.
Audiovisual Contributions
Beyond his written works, Ayvazyan also produced notable audiovisual content. He directed the film "Jugha: Interrupted Melody" and a series of five documentaries entitled "The Shackled Armenian World."
