Arkady Novikov, a renowned restaurateur, was born in 1962. He describes himself as someone who matured late in life and did not have a clear career path in mind during his school years. However, his passion for cooking and culinary arts emerged when he attended Culinary School No. 174. After completing his education, he started working as a chef at various restaurants, including "Universitetsky," "Havana," and "Olympic Lights."

In 1990, Novikov became the head chef at the "Hard Rock Cafe," which was opened by Stas Namin in the Green Theater of Gorky Park.
