Arrigo Sacchi: The Master of Catenaccio
Early Life and Career BeginningsArrigo Sacchi was born on April 1, 1946, in Fusignano, Italy. After an unsuccessful playing career, he worked as a shoemaker for seven years before becoming a coach in 1972. In 1977, he joined Cesena as a youth team coach, marking his entry into professional football.
Triumph at AC Milan
In 1987, Sacchi was appointed as the manager of AC Milan. Under his innovative "Super Football" system, Milan achieved remarkable success:
