Arsen Zhumadilov: A Trailblazing Ukrainian Leader
Arsen Zhumadilov is a prominent Ukrainian public and political figure who has held various prestigious positions in government and academia.
Early Career and Education
Zhumadilov received his Bachelor's degree from the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy." He went on to earn Master's degrees in law and political science from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a Master's degree in public management and governance from the London School of Economics.
Political and Government Roles
In August 2014, Zhumadilov was appointed Head of the Department for Ensuring the Activities of the Ukrainian President's Commissioner for Crimean Tatar Affairs. He played a key role in developing the draft law "On the Status of the Crimean Tatar People."
From August 2015 to March 2017, Zhumadilov served as Chairman of the Belyaivka District State Administration in the Odesa Oblast. During his tenure, the district became a regional leader in terms of financial growth and social and economic development.
Anti-Corruption Activism
Zhumadilov is a staunch anti-corruption advocate. Under his leadership, Belyaivka District saw a significant decline in perceived corruption in government agencies.
Academia and Healthcare
In 2017, Zhumadilov joined the political science department at the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy." He also headed the National Agency "Medical Procurement of Ukraine" from April 2019.
Recent Appointment
On October 30, 2023, Zhumadilov was appointed General Director of the State Operator of the Rear State Enterprise. This position emphasizes his continued commitment to serving the Ukrainian people.
