Early Career and Professional Debut

Juuso Ohtamaa is a Finnish professional ice hockey defenseman. He currently plays for Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Ohtamaa's professional career began with Kärpät in the Finnish SM-Liiga, where he made his debut in 2007.

National Success

Ohtamaa has represented Finland internationally. At the 2014 World Championships in Minsk, he played a crucial role in the team's run to a silver medal.

Move to the KHL

In 2019, Ohtamaa left Kärpät and signed a two-year contract with Ak Bars Kazan. He has quickly established himself as a key player for the Russian powerhouse. With Ak Bars, Ohtamaa has won the Gagarin Cup, the KHL's championship trophy, in 2020.
