Childhood Tragedy: The Death of Bailey O'Neill
A Horrific IncidentBailey O'Neill, a 12-year-old sixth-grader, tragically succumbed to his injuries on Sunday after being disconnected from life support in a Philadelphia-area hospital. Bailey had been in a medically induced coma since January, when he was brutally attacked by two classmates during recess.
Sustained Injuries
Bailey suffered a concussion and a broken nose in the attack. The subsequent seizure he experienced prompted doctors to place him in a coma to protect his brain from severe trauma.

Investigation Underway
