Biography of Barbara Anderson
Barbara Anderson was a New Zealand writer who gained international recognition despite starting her writing career at the age of over sixty. Her works bear some resemblance to the works of Anita Brookner, Raymond Carver, Margaret Drabble, and Bernice Rubens. Barbara was born in Hastings, New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago in 1947 with a degree in "". She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. Throughout her life, she worked as a medical technologist and a teacher.
