Ravindra Kantrole, known infamously as "The Beer Man," is a convicted Indian serial killer who committed heinous crimes from October 2006 to January 2007.

The Beer Man's Signature

The moniker "The Beer Man" originated from the distinctive calling card he left at each crime scene: a bottle of beer placed near the victim's body. This peculiar detail became the sole connection linking the murders.

The Killings

Kantrole targeted seven victims in South Mumbai, leaving a trail of terror in his wake. His victims included homeless individuals who were brutally stabbed multiple times.

The Arrest and Trial

One murder from the series led to Kantrole's arrest in January 2008. He was accused of killing a homeless man, stabbing him 20 times in the chest, abdomen, arms, and thighs. The Controversial Acquittal

In September 2009, the Bombay High Court acquitted Kantrole of the Beer Man killings. The court deemed the evidence against him, including narco-analysis and polygraph tests, inadmissible.
