Birth of a Quirky Project
In the mind of Ilya "Turka" Tertichnyi, a whirlwind of unconventional ideas churned, leading to the inception of the musical project known as Bez Sluha. Joined by his former schoolmate, Andrei "AKH!!!" Khvorov, Turka embarked on a journey of musical exploration and experimentation.
The Punk-Rock Beginnings
During the summer, the duo recorded an impressive 11 compositions, which they compiled into an album. However, their debut album, marked by a punk-rock style, fell short of their expectations, as they felt it lacked authenticity. Turka reflects, "Punk-rock died almost 30 years ago."
The Anticipation of a New Creation
Despite the limitations of their debut, Bez Sluha has tirelessly crafted a new offering. A recent photoshoot for the album cover has fueled the anticipation for its release. Eight songs have been completed, with vocals recorded for three, while the remaining four await refinement. The album also promises a bonus track, a captivating cover of a popular pop song.
The Creative Process and Technicalities
Turka enthusiastically reveals the technical wizardry behind their music: "We used Sony Acid, ReValver for guitars, and Guitar FX Box for the new creation. Drums were programmed in FL Studio, while bass and effects were taken from there. Final touches were added with Sony Sound Forge."
Aspirations for a Live Experience
Despite their current status as a studio-only project, Turka and AKH!!! harbor dreams of assembling a full band and gracing the stage with unforgettable performances. Their hope remains unwavering, even as they patiently await the realization of their dream.
