For her audition, Bianca prepared a song from the repertoire of Dreamgirl, 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going', originally performed by Jennifer Holliday. Her unexpectedly powerful voice surprised the judges, including Simon Cowell, who even held a press conference in honor of the exceptionally talented young girl.

In the following year, Bianca briefly returned to the show in the second season, where she wished good luck to the two finalists in a special video recorded for the project 'Nextfest'. In August 2006, Bianca announced on her website her planned trip to New York, which included meetings with a major record label and renowned songwriters.

On September 18, 2006, Bianca signed a five-album contract with 'SYCOmusic', a subdivision of 'Columbia Records', becoming the first American artist to secure a deal with the label. Just a month later, she traveled to Los Angeles to start recording her debut album.

Bianca Ryan released her first album shortly after her 12th birthday on November 14, 2006. The album garnered impressive success, even reaching the 57th spot on the 'Billboard 200' chart. After the release, Bianca embarked on a series of concerts in various countries around the world, including Australia and Switzerland. Her first concert, however, took place in the United States as part of the 'Live Nation's Nextfest' project.

The following year, she left 'SYCO/Columbia Records' and joined the indie label 'Music Forever', which released her second EP, 'True Meaning of Christmas'.
