Early Life and Education
Birzhan Yeskendirovich Khasangaliyev was born on February 1, 1978, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. His father, Yeskendir Khasangaliyev, was a renowned Soviet and Kazakh composer, and his mother, Dariko Sopyzhanovna, was a distinguished physician.
From 1993 to 1997, Khasangaliyev studied at the Almaty Music College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, majoring in Music Theory. He subsequently enrolled in the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, graduating with a degree in Music Theory, Composition, and Pedagogy.
In 2004, Khasangaliyev earned a law degree from the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai and a master's degree from the Academy of Economics and Statistics.
Career
In 2002, while still a student at the conservatory, Khasangaliyev taught piano at the Music Studio of E. Khasangaliyev. In 2004, he joined the faculty of the Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University as an instructor in the Department of Musical Instruments.
From 2007 to 2010, he held the position of Senior Lecturer, followed by Acting Associate Professor from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, Khasangaliyev served as Director of the Music Studio of E. Khasangaliyev.
In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Director of the "Astana Opera" Theatre for Artistic Collectives. Since October 2015, Khasangaliyev has served as Director of the RSE "Almaty Music College named after P.I. Tchaikovsky."
Administrative Achievements
As Director of the college, Khasangaliyev has implemented numerous educational and creative projects, including:

Khasangaliyev is a prolific composer of chamber, vocal-instrumental, and symphonic works. As a producer, he has organized a series of thematic concerts, including "Atameken," "Ódemi-au," and "Eskimrmegen Mahabatt."
