Tebogo Langerman: South African Football Defender
Tebogo Langerman is a South African professional footballer who plays as a defender for SuperSport United in the South African Premier Division. He has also represented the South African national team.
Early Career
Tebogo Langerman was born in Swaziland but moved to Pretoria, South Africa, with his parents when he was two years old. He began his football career with the Arcadia Shepherds youth team before joining the University of Pretoria in 2005. He spent two years with the university club before signing for SuperSport United in 2007.
SuperSport United
Langerman quickly established himself as a key player for SuperSport United, making over 200 appearances for the club. He helped the team win the Premier Soccer League title in 2010 and was named the club's Player of the Year for the 2009-10 season.
Tottenham Hotspur
On October 26, 2010, it was announced that Langerman had signed for English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur on a three-year deal, subject to receiving a work permit. He joined the club in January 2011.
International Career
Langerman made his debut for the South African national team in 2009. He was part of the squad that participated in the 2009 Confederations Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
