Biography of Bonnie Hunt

Bonnie Hunt was born in Chicago into a large family of seven children. She worked as a nurse in the oncology department of the Northwestern Memorial Hospital and also pursued acting at the Second City improvisational theater. In 1988, she was invited to appear in the film "Rain Man".

Shortly after the success of "Rain Man", NBC offered Bonnie a role in the comedy "Grand". However, the series was unsuccessful and was soon taken off the air, not bringing the actress any fame. But her role as the mother of a family in the successful comedy "Beethoven" made people forget about the past. This was followed by the situational comedy "Dave", the sequel to "Beethoven", and the fantasy comedy "Jumanji" filled with special effects.

Bonnie Hunt's attempts to host her own talk show and create her own TV series did not succeed for various reasons.
