Biography of Boris Zaydenberg

Born on May 21, 1929, in Odessa, Boris Zaydenberg was a Soviet and Russian actor in both theater and film. He graduated from the acting department of the A.N. Ostrovsky Tashkent Theater and Art Institute in 1950. From 1950 to 1953, he performed at the A.S. Pushkin Magnitogorsk Drama Theater, and from 1953 to 1962, he was a member of the Bryansk Regional Drama Theater. From 1962 until his death in 2000, Zaydenberg was associated with the A. Ivanov Odessa Russian Drama Theater.

Accomplishments

In 1965, Zaydenberg made his debut in cinema, playing the role of Yemelyanov in the film "Gadyuka." In 1961, he was honored with the title of Merited Artist of the RSFSR (Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic). Apart from his acting career, Zaydenberg also worked as a director, directing around 30 productions for the A. Ivanov Odessa Russian Drama Theater, V. Vasilyko Odessa Music and Drama Theater, and the opera studio of the A. Nezhdanova Odessa Conservatory.

Legacy
