Brad Delson's musical journey began at the tender age of nine when he took up the guitar. His passion for music blossomed throughout his formative years, leading him to explore various genres and form his first band with drummer Rob Bourdon during high school. While their initial collaboration aimed solely at performing for school shows, it laid the foundation for their future musical endeavors.
The Formation of Xero and Linkin Park
Upon graduating high school in 1995, Brad Delson alongside childhood friend Mike Shinoda and Rob Bourdon embarked on the creation of Xero. This band marked the genesis of Linkin Park, which would later become one of the most influential rock bands of the early 21st century. Driven by an unwavering passion for music, they honed their craft and developed their unique sound, blending elements of rap, rock, and electronica.
