Bridgit Claire Mendler was born on December 18, 1992, in Washington, D.C. She is an American actress, singer, musician, and songwriter. Mendler rose to fame for her role as Teddy Duncan in the Disney series "Good Luck Charlie" and as Juliet Van Heusen in "Wizards of Waverly Place." She has also appeared in films such as "Labor Pains," "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel," and "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2." Mendler starred in the musical television film "Lemonade Mouth" alongside Adam Hicks and Hayley Kiyoko.

In 2012, Mendler planned to release her debut studio album. She gained interest in acting at a young age and began performing in plays in Mill Valley, San Francisco, where her family moved when she was eight years old. Mendler became the youngest performer at the Fringe Festival in San Francisco.
