Early Life and Career
Michele Di Pietro was an Italian Cardinal who served as a close aide to his uncle, Cardinal Michele Di Pietro. He was born in Albano Laziale and rose through the ranks of the Catholic Church, becoming the Titular Archbishop of Beirut in 1839.

Di Pietro was created a Cardinal in pectore in 1853 and publicly proclaimed in 1856 as Cardinal-Priest of San Giovanni a Porta Latina. He later became Cardinal-Bishop of Albano (1867-1877), Porto and Santa Rufina (1877-1878), and Ostia (from 1878).
Death and Legacy
Michele Di Pietro died in Rome in 1884. His diplomatic skills and influential roles in the Catholic hierarchy left a lasting impact on the Church and Vatican politics.
