Early Life and Education
Can Yaman was born on November 8, 1989, in the Suadiye district of Istanbul, Turkey. He is the only child of a mixed-heritage family, with a Yugoslav grandfather and a Macedonian grandmother. After his parents' divorce when he was five years old, Can lived with his mother.
Can attended Bilfen College and later Lisesi Italian School. He pursued a law degree at the Faculty of Law of the private Yeditepe University, winning a scholarship. During his studies, he did not envision a career in acting.
Career Shift and Early Acting
After graduating, Can worked as a lawyer while attending acting classes taught by Güneyt Sayıl for entertainment. A close friend, recognizing his talent, encouraged him to pursue acting instead of law.
Can's first role was in the TV series "Gönül İşleri." Despite initial challenges, including having to lose weight and work on his muscle mass, he impressed with his performance alongside established actresses Selma Ergeç and Sinem Kobal.
Television Roles
Can Yaman has portrayed various characters in Turkish television series. In "Inadına Aşk," he played a successful businessman. He also appeared in "Hangimiz Sevmedik," "Dolunay," and "Erkenci Kuş."
"Erkenci Kuş" and International Fame
In 2018, Can Yaman gained international recognition for his leading role in the romantic comedy series "Erkenci Kuş" ("Early Bird"). The series follows a wealthy fashion photographer who falls in love with a cheerful woman from an ordinary family.

Aside from acting, Can Yaman has also worked as a fashion model. His photoshoots have graced the covers of magazines such as Istanbul Life. He is also a co-owner of a law firm in Istanbul.
