Biography of Candice Swanepoel
Candice Swanepoel is a South African model who rose to fame at a young age. Born in Muizenberg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Candice always dreamed of becoming a world-famous runway star. However, growing up in a small town made it difficult for her to pursue her dreams. Fortunately, her luck changed when talent scout Kevin Ellis spotted her at a flea market in Durban when she was only fifteen years old. Around the same time, another popular African model, Georgina Grenville, was also discovered in Durban.

Kevin Ellis was immediately captivated by Candice's beauty and talent. Additionally, the fashion industry was looking for something new, as the trend of European models was fading. Ellis arranged a meeting for Candice and her mother with a local modeling agency, where Tiffany Prior, the agency's director, was also impressed by Candice's potential. On the spot, they conducted a photoshoot without any makeup, and Tiffany sent the photos to Christine Reilly, a prominent fashion analyst in Cape Town. Reilly then forwarded the pictures to 'Select,' one of the largest British modeling agencies, known for representing stars like Helena Christensen and Sienna Miller. The response was immediate – the British agency wanted Candice to come to London right away.
Christine, Tiffany, and Kevin were not surprised by Candice's success as they recognized her considerable potential from the start. However, Candice herself was taken aback by her sudden stroke of luck. Nevertheless, she embarked on her modeling career and started working in London. After some preliminary events, the real work began, and within two weeks, she went through over forty auditions in New York City and Los Angeles. By the age of sixteen, Candice was already earning five thousand euros per day of work.
Candice quickly made a name for herself in the industry, appearing on the cover of Greek Vogue and working on advertising campaigns for Nike. She also walked the runway for renowned brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Victoria's Secret, and Diane von Fürstenberg. It is worth noting that Candice became the first African model to secure a contract with Victoria's Secret. Currently, she participates in dozens of fashion shows around the world and is often referred to as the "African version of Kate Moss."
At present, Candice is in a relationship with Joshua David Jones, who is currently deployed in Iraq.
