Biography of Carla Diaz

Carla Diaz is a Brazilian theater and film actress, as well as a model. She was born on November 28, 1990, in São Paulo, Brazil, into a family of doctors. Carla is half Uruguayan and half Brazilian, and her father's family still lives in Uruguay, which is why she is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Early Career

Carla began her career in the entertainment industry at a young age, starring in commercials from the age of 2.5. Within two years, she had already appeared in 80 commercials. In 1994, she landed her first role in the telenovela "Nas Beiras Seis" and went on to star in "Brazilian School" and the series "Love is in the Air".

Success in Argentina

In 1997, Carla traveled to Argentina, where she acted in the Argentine telenovela "Chiquititas" (Little Girls). She played the role of Maria in three seasons of the series, continuing her work until 1999. In one of her interviews, she expressed her love for working in Argentina.

Challenging Roles and New Endeavors

In 2007, Carla took on one of her most challenging roles in "Seven Sins". Her character, Gina, was an orphan who was bullied at school for being HIV-positive. She faced abuse and harassment throughout the series. In February 2009, Carla signed a contract with Rede Record and joined the trilogy "Mutants" in the third stage, "Promises of Love", where she became one of the main characters, Juno. In 2011, she joined the cast of "Rebelde" as the mysterious Marcia.
