Origins in the World of Two Wheels

Carlos Ramírez Yesid, the BMX rider, was born into the world of sports at a tender age thanks to his parents. He ventured into disciplines such as basketball and swimming until he discovered his calling: BMX. He kicked off his career in this sport in his hometown of Medellín on the day he turned five. In the cycling world, he is known as the "Little Magician" for his dexterity and incredible bike-handling skills.

Triumph in Brazil: BMX World Champion (2002)

Nearly two decades have passed since Carlos Ramírez Yesid claimed the first BMX World Championship title in Paulínia, Brazil. At the time, the "Little Magician" was just eight years old and amazed the BMX world with his nerves of steel. In July 2002, he was crowned the UCI BMX World Champion in Brazil, marking a momentous achievement in his young career.

Continued Success: BMX World Champion (2012)

In 2012, Carlos Ramírez Yesid participated in his first BMX World Championships in the Junior category and emerged as the world champion in Birmingham, United Kingdom. At the same championship, he secured a second place in the Junior Time Trial. Carlos represents a new generation of national BMX riders, bringing glory to Colombia in the most prestigious BMX tournament worldwide.
