Cando eventually agreed to the liposuction procedure. During the operation, complications arose leading to her untimely demise. The family's lawyer, Carlos Reyes Izquierdo, is investigating the exact cause of death.
Legal Investigations and Arrests
Izquierdo believes negligence may have played a role and has ordered a pathological examination to determine the circumstances surrounding Cando's passing. The doctors responsible for the lethal surgery have been detained to prevent their potential flight from prosecution.
