Cengiz Coşkun, a renowned Turkish actor, was born on April 29, 1982, in Istanbul, Turkey. His family's ancestors hailed from Bulgaria, with his great-grandfather migrating from Anatolia (present-day Turkey) during the Ottoman Empire. Coşkun's parents returned to their ancestral homeland in the 1970s, and he was born a decade later.

Coşkun's childhood was humble, with his father working as a mechanic and his mother tending to the home and raising their two children. Despite his family's financial situation, he excelled in sports, particularly basketball. At age 13, he joined a boarding school and began honing his athletic skills.

Modeling and Acting Debut

Beyond Turkey, Coşkun's fame spread with his portrayal of Turgut Alp in the popular adventure series "Diriliş: Ertuğrul." His soulful performance as a loyal companion to Ertugrul garnered him a vast international following.

Coşkun's first international experience came with the Russian drama series "Mistresses." Invited by director Lamara Sogomonyan, he played the role of Hamid Abbas, a wealthy businessman and friend to the main protagonist.
