Asahel Howard Jacobs was an American athlete who competed in the pole vault at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London.
1908 Summer Olympics
In the 1908 Games, Jacobs finished in a tie for third place with a jump of 3.58 meters (11 feet 9 inches). He shared the bronze medal with Edward Archibald of Canada. The gold medal was won by Edward Cook of the United States, and the silver medal was won by Alfred Gilbert of the United States.
