Charlie Bell, the head of McDonald's, has not only become the youngest CEO of the company but also the first Australian to hold this position, which was previously held only by Americans. Working part-time after school, the 15-year-old boy earned $2 per hour running around the kitchen and cleaning the toilets at one of the restaurants in Sydney. Now, at the age of 43, Charlie has been appointed the CEO of the McDonald's chain and will earn $6 million per year. Visitors to the very same restaurant where Charlie started his career can now hear people saying, "What a magnificent career!" He has always been associated with McDonald's and was the managing director of the fast-food chain in Australia and later in Europe.
