A Chinese couple found nothing wrong with introducing their less than a year old son to wine and easily got him hooked on alcohol. They even found it amusing to see if their baby, Cheng Cheng, would get drunk from a bottle of beer. Cheng Cheng, who is two years old and lives in the Anhui province of China, has been drinking alcohol for the majority of his life. Instead of milk, as one would assume, he consumes wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. Cheng Cheng first tasted wine at 10 months old, when his father soaked his pacifiers and bottle nipples in wine to calm his crying baby. By the age of one, Cheng Cheng was already drinking beer, and now, at the age of two, he is so addicted to alcohol that he demands something stronger than milk or juice when he cries. The situation is absurd and unimaginable, as the parents have turned their child into an alcoholic. While some family members are amazed by their unusual little boy, the public has reacted very negatively to this situation. Local media has launched a campaign to immediately stop the alcohol consumption of minors. Fearful of legal consequences, the parents are trying to wean Cheng Cheng off alcohol, but it is proving to be a difficult task. As soon as he sees alcohol, the boy starts demanding it and does not calm down until he gets to drink it.
