Early Life and Education

Chiara Ferragni was born on May 7, 1987, in Cremona, Italy to Marco Ferragni, a dentist, and Marina Di Guardo, a writer. Ferragni attended Bocconi University in Milan, where she studied law but never completed her degree.

Fashion Blog and Modeling Career

In October 2009, Ferragni launched her fashion blog, "The Blonde Salad". The blog quickly gained popularity and in March 2011, New York magazine named her as "one of the breakout street-style stars of the year". Teen Vogue declared her the "most popular blogger in the world" in December 2011.

Ferragni has modeled for brands such as Guess (2013) and Steve Madden (2013), where she designed a line of nine footwear styles for the fall 2014 season.

Television and Media Appearances

In addition to her fashion and modeling career, Ferragni has hosted the Italian TRL Awards (now MTV Italian Music Awards) and appeared on "Chiambretti Night". She was also a red carpet correspondent at the Cannes Film Festival.

In August 2014, she was a guest judge on the 13th season of "Project Runway".
