Biography of Chris DeRosa

Chris DeRosa is a composer, arranger, and producer who studied at Berklee College of Music, where he received the prestigious Buddy Rich Jazz Masters scholarship. He also attended the University of Miami, where he was awarded the Bowman Ashe scholarship for artistic and academic achievements. At the University of Miami, he earned a degree in jazz performance.

Chris DeRosa is a professional independent drummer, producer, and composer. He currently resides in New York, although his extensive experience has led him to travel to over 44 countries. Chris has collaborated and recorded with renowned artists such as Deborah Harry and Chris Stein, Ben Stivers, Tony Scherr, Phil Perry, Laura Down, Leo Traversa, Jefferson Thomas, Monica Allison, Jeff Baker, Nadia Ali, Motorbaby, Rick Ross, Melba Moore, Tom Jennings, Nori Nori, Jed Davis, Willie Ruff, Quintet Lolita Jackson, Quartet Billy Brown, and the Yale University Ensemble.
