Christian Kane, an American actor and musician, was born in 1974 in Dallas, Texas. His father was involved in the oil business, leading to the family frequently moving around Texas. From a young age, Kane had a passion for country music and started playing the guitar. He later studied art history at the University of Oklahoma, but dropped out before obtaining a degree and moved to Los Angeles.

Kane's television career began with roles in various TV series, including a notable role in the series "Angel," which brought him popularity. He became strongly associated with his character, Lindsey McDonald, from the law firm "Wolfram & Hart."
