Born on August 16, 1986, in Cottbus, Germany, Christian Poser began his sporting journey with a passion for track and field. He excelled in sprinting before transitioning to bobsledding in 2008, joining the German junior team as a push athlete.

Rise to Prominence

In 2009, Poser became a member of Benjamin Schmid's crew, winning four silver medals at various European Cup races. He also placed fourth at the Junior World Championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland. In 2010, he joined Manuel Machata's team and made his World Cup debut, earning two golds, a silver, and two bronzes in the four-man event.

World Championship Triumph

At the 2011 World Championships in Königssee, Germany, Poser's crew emerged victorious in the four-man event, crowning him World Champion. He continued to excel in the following season, securing more World Cup medals. However, he could only achieve a bronze at the 2013 World Championships in Lake Placid, USA.

Olympic Appearance and Military Service
